STOP Human Trafficking with Integrity Health

The Sound of Freedom was released on Independence Day and  continues to hold #1 in the box office. People are waking up to the fact  that human trafficking is on the rise at 5000% in the last 5 years.  There are more slaves today then when slavery was legal in USA. God’s  children ARE NOT for sale! In light of the call to action of what can I  do? I have wrestled with my impact to STOP human trafficking.        It was last year around this time, I was asked to be part of a group who  would run a marathon to raise money for a ministry in Greece called Nea  Zoi, which means New Life. This ministry goes into brothels in Athens  and builds relationships with men and women who are trapped in  prostitution in the red light district. They share the good news of  Jesus Christ and aid them in finding alternative means of financial  support in addition to providing social services connections as well as  psychological and theological counseling. Due to other events, I was not  able to attend that marathon in 2022 HOWEVER it is on the schedule to  run the same marathon in 2023!       It is exciting to be an integral  part to support the local community to help STOP human trafficking and  lo and behold, the marathon is EXACTLY on my 60th birthday, November  12th!! The marathon is in Greece along the original course from Marathon  to Athens.       So here is a thought. Travel expenses would be  about $1,500. I would have a place to stay there with the ministry. I  thought if I could raise $4,500 (triple the travel expense cost) and  hopefully more, I would take that as a sign that it had God’s blessing  on it. Together we can build an ongoing partnership with Nea Zoi as well  as local ministries in our own community such as North Star Initiative  and Greenlight Operation particularly with the current increased  awareness of the evil and pervasive sex trade.       If you are a small business that would like to support me, please let us know and you are able to send your logo to info@integrityhealthdpc.com and it will be added to my marathon shirt.
